Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred
• Two years of related work experience; healthcare or customer service background beneficial
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance eligibility verification is expected
• Ability to operate office equipment and use Word/Excel effectively
• Customer-service oriented and able to build relationships within the team and with patients

Responsabilités

• Schedule patient visits and ensure all information is complete and accurate.
• Pre-register patients and collect necessary registrations and authorizations.
• Enter and verify demographic and insurance data in the system.
• Explain billing policies and assist with financial counseling as needed.
• Obtain authorizations, pre-certifications, and referrals for services.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow and bed placement.
