Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Medical Front Office Specialist to join Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth, TX. The role handles patient greetings, demographics, insurance verification, payments, and front desk operations to ensure smooth visits. Strong communication and customer service are essential; bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, and CME allowance, with supportive teamwork in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
2 years of customer service experience is required.
Working knowledge of eCW system preferred.
Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and provide directions as needed.
Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at every visit.
Collect co-payments and past due balances at the time of service.
Post all payments and key billing information into the computer system.
Assist patients with forms and answer questions and concerns.
Manage petty cash, bank deposits, and post daily batches.
Verify referrals and pre-authorizations prior to patient arrival.
Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments.
Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate area.
Maintain a neat front office and lobby areas.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Administrator.
