Job summary

US Heart & Vascular is seeking a Medical Front Office Specialist to join Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth, TX. This role will greet patients, handle check-in, intake forms, scheduling, and basic billing tasks.

You will verify demographics, collect payments, and post data into the system, while also assisting patients with forms and questions. High school diploma required; bilingual is a plus, and healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of eCW system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at every visit.
• Collect co-payments and past due balances at the time of service.
• Post payments and key billing information into the computer system.
• Assist patients in completing forms and address questions or concerns.
• Schedule appointments and triage calls to physicians or nurses as needed.
• Maintain a neat and organized front office and lobby area.
