Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Manager, Hospital Access to oversee day-to-day Patient Access operations across departments. You will manage a team of supervisors, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize workflows and deliver exceptional patient experiences.

The role requires Bachelor’s in healthcare administration or related field, plus 3+ years in healthcare registration with leadership experience; proficiency in EHR systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare registration/front desk operations with 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems; experience in team management and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Patient Access teams to ensure high performance.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and training; develop staffing schedules and timecard management.
• Develop SOPs, drive regulatory compliance (HIPAA) and user experience improvements.
• Coordinate with Access Center and Scheduling managers to align goals and share best practices.
• Oversee data reporting and analysis of department performance and metrics.
