Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Manager, Hospital Access to lead patient registration, scheduling, financial clearance and customer service across departments. You will manage supervisors, develop staffing, and ensure regulatory compliance while advancing patient experience and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in healthcare administration, 3+ years in healthcare registration with 2+ years in a managerial capacity, and strong EHR and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum in healthcare registration/front desk operations with 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience in staff development, performance management and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Patient Access teams, recruitment, onboarding and staffing.
• Develop staffing schedules and ensure labor standard compliance.
• Create SOPs, improve workflows, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to align goals and drive improvements.
• Generate reports on department performance and KPIs.
