Qualifications

• 4+ years in leadership or supervisory roles in healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding concepts.
• Experience with registration, scheduling, insurance verification.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Patient Access staff.
• Manage staffing schedules and ensure appropriate departmental coverage.
• Oversee registration, scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, financial clearance, admissions, and related Patient Access functions.
• Monitor department reports, dashboards, work queues, and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, accuracy, efficiency, and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and payer requirements.
• New Hire orientation and ongoing education within Patient Access.
• Collaborate with clinical departments and other hospital units.
