Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying eligibility, scheduling, entering orders, and collecting patient liabilities.

Qualifications

• Required HS Diploma with minimum 2 years job related experience.
• Associate degree with 6 months job-related experience - Preferred.
• Minimum Experience of 1 year preferred in a job-related experience.
• Basic MS Word & MS Excel.
• Customer Service and organizational skills.
• NAHAM certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them into the system in a professional manner.
• Respond to telephone calls according to standards and provide information.
• Verify patient identity and appointment details to ensure accurate registration.
• Schedule appointments and manage EMPI accuracy; enter orders when needed.
• Perform insurance eligibility verification and collect patient liabilities.
• Provide estimates for services and communicate patient liability.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA and department policies.
