Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Patient Access, Registration, Admitting, Revenue Cycle, or Healthcare Operations experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification, authorization processes, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Patient Access staff, ensure proper staffing and scheduling.
• Manage patient registration, pre-registration, and insurance verification processes.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and clinical departments to improve clean claim rates.
• Conduct compliance audits and promote HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing education for Patient Access staff.
• Promote exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
