Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Manager of Patient Access to lead staff across registration, scheduling, verification, and revenue cycle activities. You will direct daily workflows, monitor metrics, and drive initiatives to improve patient access experiences while meeting regulatory and financial targets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with facility leaders to implement process improvements, coach staff, and ensure accurate billing and timely patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare leadership experience required.
• 2–5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• 6–8 years of technical years of experience preferred.
• Experience/knowledge in all areas of Patient Access functions including: registration, reimbursement & payer guidelines, billing & collection.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Ensures that areas within the Patient Access functions are directionally aligned with CHRISTUS Health.
• Develops daily workflow monitoring for areas of responsibility and staff to meet the needs of the organization.
• Responsible for the outcomes of the performance initiatives and supports the metrics outlined for performance measurements.
• Develop processes to meet Patient/Associate satisfaction goals established by the facility and region.
• Coordinates the development and professional growth of the direct reports.
• Works collaboratively with facility and regional Leadership to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
• Responds to organizational and customer needs with innovative processes to ensure service excellence.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies.
• Prepares and presents performance reports to Leadership, hospital executives, and others as necessary.
