Job summary

Baptist Health in New Albany, IN is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to assist the Patient Access Manager with leadership of the department. Responsibilities include insurance verification, pre-registration, collecting patient payments, document distribution, and financial triage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years experience in Access Services related field (registration, patient accounting, and financial services) or one year of supervisory/management experience required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to support leadership in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Patient Access department under the supervision of the Manager/Regional Director.
• Assist with insurance verification, pre-registration, and collection of patient payments.
• Contribute to achieving excellent customer service and financial performance while reducing denials/delays.
• Support development of Patient Access functions as directed by the AVP, Patient Access and Financial Clearance Services.
