Job summary

Inova's Pre-service Team seeks a Patient Access Supervisor to join our hybrid, full-time program. The role operates Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a hybrid work arrangement in Falls Church, VA.

The supervisor will guide the patient access team in daily operations and problem resolution. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of patient access experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, working to meet performance targets and ensure accurate patient eligibility and payment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of patient access experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists team members in the patient access function, ensuring key deliverables and quality standards are met.
• Collaborates with managers to resolve cross-departmental issues and coaches staff on analysis and decision making.
• Coaches staff to proactively identify problems and develop solutions; facilitates problem-solving sessions.
• Recognizes and resolves system and payer rejections/denials using established actions.
• Stays current with insurance, contractual, and third-party payer regulations to ensure proper adjudication and compliance.
