Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with 3–5 years of relevant patient access/intake experience with performance evidence.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience required; multi-site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support Patient Access Advisors.
• Oversee patient registration, admissions, scheduling, and check-in.
• Ensure patient demographic information and medical records accuracy.
• Monitor registration workflows to reduce errors and delays.
• Coordinate with clinical departments to support timely patient care.
• Assist in resolving registration problems and escalated patient issues.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Monitor adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Audit registration accuracy and identify workflow problems.
• Develop procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
