Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for North Star Behavioral Health in Alaska. You will oversee front desk operations, manage a multi-line switchboard, and ensure patient information flows securely and efficiently throughout the facility.

You will work with Intake/Admissions, Business Office, and clinical teams to coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient documentation, while supervising the Patient Access Coordinators and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school Graduate/GED
• Experience: 2-4 years experience in administrative work with leadership experience preferred.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors at the front desk and manage the multi-line switchboard.
• Answer and route incoming calls promptly to appropriate offices.
• Process admission paperwork and verify registration documents.
• Coordinate communication between Intake, Nursing Units, Business Office and other departments.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and secure handling of patient information.
