The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in customer service or admin, is proficient with EMR/EHR systems (Epic or Cerner), and understands insurance verification and HIPAA compliance. Medical, dental, vision benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Insurance verification and/or prior authorization experience required.
• Associate degree or healthcare certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Register patients and maintain accurate demographic information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients.
• Obtain required consent and privacy documentation.
• Coordinate with providers, nurses, and insurance companies to support patient care.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
