Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families and assists with registration and directions.
• Verifies patient demographic information and processes payments.
• Responsible for inputting pre-certification/authorization and insurance verification for all patients.
• Researches, follows up, and resolves open and pending authorizations promptly.
• Calculates cash estimates for patients for upcoming visits/procedures.
• Maintains clear communication with patients and insurance companies.
• Obtains prior authorization for procedures.
• Scans medical documents into patient accounts.
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication in a high-stress environment.
• Manages multiple priorities while maintaining customer service excellence.
