Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to patients and their families in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum of two years of face-to-face customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families, provide directions and escort assistance as needed.
• Register patients and verify demographics, process signatures and required forms.
• Input pre-certification/authorization and verify insurance coverage for all patients.
• Research, follow up and resolve open and pending authorizations in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and insurance providers.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures.
