Responsibilities

• Register patients with accurate demographics in the ADT system and collect required signatures.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine coverage at point of registration.
• Explain hospital policies and patient rights to families; provide printed materials.
• Process payments, set up payment plans, and document financial liability accurately.
• Comply with EMTALA, HIPAA, ABN, MSP and related regulations in registration workflows.
