• Explain hospital policies and patient rights to families during registration.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine/collect financial liability.
• Obtain signatures on required forms and ensure documents are scanned and stored properly.
• Follow CMS and EMTALA-related procedures and maintain regulatory compliance.
