Job summary

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient insurance benefits and coverage for infusion services to the care team.
• Explains treatment plan to insurers, referral sources, patients and families to enable safe discharge.
• Obtains all required authorizations from the patient’s insurer and documents information in the system.
• Participates in referral meetings to track status of referrals and required documents.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.
