Qualifications

• Ability to use EPIC and related systems to verify and document benefits.

Responsibilities

• TIME AND ATTENDANCE: clocks in and out of MTM accurately and signs off by period end.
• PATIENT IDENTIFICATION: enter patient data with two identifiers to prevent errors.
• DOCUMENATION AND DATA ENTRY: document verification in registration system and scan into EPIC timely.
• CUSTOMER SERVICE/PROFESSIONALISM: provide excellent service to patients and hospital staff.
• ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION: verify insurance eligibility using EPIC, OnBase, RTE and contracts.
• ATTENDANCE OF MEETINGS: participate in department meetings and training.
• EPIC WORK QUEUE MONITORING/PRODUCTIVITY: monitor EPIC queues to maintain daily goals.
• PATIENT ESTIMATES: prepare estimates and inform patients of financial responsibility.
• INSURANCE PLAN CODE SELECTION: select correct plan and IPA codes.
• WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT: multitask effectively amid high patient volumes.
