PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to serve as the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless, efficient, and supportive.

You will verify insurance coverage, secure prior authorizations, and coordinate physician referrals to keep schedules optimized and patients moving smoothly toward their goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred).
• Experience in healthcare settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations.
• Obtain authorizations and/or prior authorizations as needed.
• Oversee over-the-counter collections and reconcile charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.
