ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC, seeks a patient access representative to perform patient registration and interpret insurance benefits. You will counsel patients on coverage, maintain medical terminology skills, and support payer regulations while delivering courteous service.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 to 5, with competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of customer service required.
• 1–2 years registration/billing in healthcare preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; detail orientation; multitasking.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients at point of service.
• Interpret and counsel on insurance benefits.
• Maintain medical terminology and payer knowledge.
• Provide patient and customer relations; perform other duties as assigned.
