Job summary

Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access / Front Office Associate on a PRN weekend schedule (Saturdays 7am–7pm). The role greets patients, registers them, verifies insurance, collects payments, and supports smooth patient flow in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has customer service experience, strong communication, and comfort with EMR/EHR systems. This position requires professionalism, organization, and flexible scheduling across facilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and accurately update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays, deductibles, and payments per guidelines.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrivals and delays.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette; route calls and take messages as needed.
• Provide general information such as directions, hours, and policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
• Maintain waiting areas and front desk in a clean, organized condition.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings; stay updated on responsibilities.
