Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health in Nashua is seeking a Clerical Support Representative to join our front desk team. You will ensure smooth admin workflows, greet patients, schedule interpreters, and coordinate referrals and documents.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and at least one year of customer service experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic medical terminology to support HIPAA-compliant operations and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• Holder of a High School Diploma or equivalent credential.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Patient Front Desk: Greet visitors, check patients in/out, and schedule language interpreters when needed.
• Coordinate Communications: Answer incoming phone calls, provide general information, and schedule patient appointments.
• Handle Documentation & Referrals: Collect demographic data, enter and track referrals, and scan/index medical documents.
• Process Financial Transactions: Verify insurance requirements, collect co-payments, and balance daily financial batches.
• Maintain Compliance & Systems: Protect patient privacy under HIPAA laws and stay updated on EPIC system upgrades.
