Job summary

The Patient Access Representative at U.S. Urology Partners greets patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, handles check-in/out and answers routine calls. You will verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure charts are accurate for upcoming appointments.

You may travel to other clinics as needed and will be cross-trained to support reception across locations, maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality service in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Handle patient check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
• Answer calls and address appointment times and general inquiries.
• Review patient charts for accuracy prior to upcoming appointments.
• Verify and update insurance information; collect patient payments.
• Scan and sort documents in the EMR system; travel to other clinics as needed.
