• Explains and completes registration and admitting forms accurately.
• Obtains signatures from patients and policyholders.
• Explains and gets signatures for consents, assignment of benefits, ABNs and NOUs.
• Performs Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) forms per laws and follows up for information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility using Nebo and reviews Nebo reports.
• Receives and posts co-pays and balances cash drawers.
• Registers patients at visits and ensures complete patient/insurance information.
• Maintains patient information and communicates privacy and rights information.
