Qualifications

• Registration and scheduling experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient to collect and verify demographic and financial data.
• Verifies insurance coverage and initiates pre-authorization when required.
• Collects payments and makes daily deposits per policy.
• Prepares and distributes reports and patient identification items.
• Communicates estimated financial responsibility to patients and arranges payment plans if needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
