Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned.
• Two (2) years of Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance and/or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient to collect demographic and financial data.
• Verifies insurance and initiates pre-authorization when required.
• Collects payments and issues receipts; maintains cash logs and daily deposits.
• Prepares and distributes reports and patient documents as required.
• Communicates to patients their estimated financial responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
