Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and document in the system.
• Initiate pre-certification when required and obtain signatures as needed.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and maintain cash logs.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items.
• Explain patients' estimated financial responsibility and payment options.
• Refer patients to payment programs or financial assistance when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
