Job summary

Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Financial Counselor to serve as a financial liaison for patients, helping secure funding for treatment and managing patient obligations. You will coordinate benefits, estimate copays, and monitor payments across therapy; support enrollment in funding programs.

The role requires 1 year healthcare or customer service experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with MS Office. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on-site roles available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the financial liaison for patients to obtain funding assistance.
• Calculate and quote patient pay responsibility through benefits coordination.
• Monitor and collect patient payments and assist with enrollment in assistance programs.
• Maintain patient records and complete Insurance Benefit Summaries (IBS).
• Explain ABNs and support staff training as needed.
• Communicate with clinics to ensure accurate documentation.
