Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of computer knowledge.
• Previous clinical registration experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to Grand Itasca policies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments.
• Verify insurance, patient information, and account information.
• Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and reschedule as necessary.
• Arrange arrivals for scheduled appointments and ensure documents/signatures are complete.
• Identify coverage issues or self-pay issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Enter patient information and scan documents into scheduling system.
• Complete daily patient and claim edit work queues.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
