Job summary

Conifer Health in Goodyear, AZ, seeks an experienced Patient Access Manager to lead daily operations, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate patient flow from intake to exit. You will oversee staffing, budgets, and collaboration with Client Services to meet service levels.

The role requires strong leadership, healthcare revenue-cycle knowledge, and ability to manage regulatory and insurance aspects of Patient Access. Travel may be required in a multi-site setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Three (3) to five (5) years Management in a Revenue Cycle, Business Services, or Acute Health Care environment preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Patient Access desired
• Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvement initiatives to meet Conifer and client goals.
• Develop and implement action plans as identified.
• Actively practice budget/cost management.
• Understand and speak to all aspects of Patient Access, from technology, processes and regulations.
• Manage staffing activities, provide training, grow supervisors, and engage staff.
• Coordinate with Client Services to address client needs without hurting efficiency.
• Address issues that impede performance, including tech or process gaps.
