Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Bi-lingual experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managerial responsibilities (interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work).
• Maintains good working knowledge of patient access modules and serves as a training resource for staff.
• Coordinates scheduling and staffing, and may fill in for admissions when needed.
• Provides exceptional customer service, welcoming guests including employees, visitors, patients and vendors.
• Ensures staff collect appropriate patient payments for services.
• Reviews staff work for accuracy and follows up on issues.
• Coordinates with other departments to provide a smooth admitting service for patients and physicians.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems; supports service excellence initiatives (AIDET, SHARE).
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and adapts to changes within the department.
