Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform multiple patient access functions within the department.
• Register patients and collect demographic, guarantor and insurance data for ED, inpatient and outpatient visits.
• Verify insurance and billing information and apply proper payer codes.
• Assist with financial counseling referrals and follow up on open items to resolve issues.
• Provide front office support including check-in/check-out and scheduling tasks.
