Franciscan Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative I to perform preregistration and registration tasks, along with patient financial counseling and balance collections.

The role collaborates with clinical and revenue-cycle teams to ensure accurate data and HIPAA compliance, while guiding patients on copayments and payments. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, entering insurance and billing information, and maintaining smooth patient flow through pre-registrations.

Competenze

• Associate degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Professional, vocational, or trade training required.

Mansioni

• Interview patient and family to obtain registration information and ensure accuracy of data.
• Enter demographic, insurance, billing, and clinical data into the system.
• Inform patients about copayments, prepayments, and outstanding balances as part of financial counseling.
• Identify patient liabilities and collect co-payments or arrange pre-service payments.
• Maintain patient flow with pre-registrations and data entry to support registration processes.
