Baptist Health in Sellersburg, IN invites applications for a Full Time Patient Access Coordinator / Physical Therapy Tech. The role handles patient appointments, registers patients, verifies insurance and demographics, collects co-pays, and assists with clerical tasks in a busy physical therapy office.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong computer skills, basic medical terminology, and prior medical office experience is preferred.

• Computer skills required; medical terminology skills preferred.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments and reminder calls.
• Greet and register patients; verify demographics and insurance information.
• Enter patient data into the system and coordinate with providers.
• Collect co-pays and other payments; prepare daily deposits and reconciliation reports.
• Relay messages to and from providers and log them appropriately.
• Provide clerical support: typing, mail, faxes, and supplies management.
