Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and interact tactfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing next-day patients and completing prep activities.
• Check-in/out patients and verify demographics.
• Post charges and collect co-payments and balances.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and ancillary services.
• Explain billing policies and determine cash collection amounts.
• Coordinate labs/procedures and maintain patient records.
