Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will greet patients, collect demographics, confirm insurance, and assist with billing and scheduling to ensure a smooth patient experience.

In this role you will handle high-volume calls, update the EMR, set up payment plans, and verify eligibility while adhering to HIPAA and Women’s Care policies.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience at every encounter.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to mult-task in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with typical computer programs including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Collect and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Assist with billing questions and time-of-service collection goals.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up payment plans per policy and verify eligibility.
• Answer high volumes of calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits.
• Ensure proper check-out processes and update eCW records daily.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and provide a welcoming environment.
• Uphold HIPAA rules and Women’s Care values.
