Job summary

Charleston Area Medical Center, through its Davis Medical Center, seeks a Patient Access Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple facilities and clinics. You will ensure accurate patient demographics, efficient scheduling, and compliant data collection, while leading a team and reporting to the VP/CFO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5–10 years management experience acceptable.
• Experience with MS Office and electronic scheduling/registration systems.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and other government payers.
• Ability to lead and educate staff; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Patient Access operations across Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital and clinics.
• Hire, train, evaluate staff and make personnel decisions for Patient Access Coordinators and Scheduling Specialists II.
• Develop departmental budgets and operate within them.
• Ensure efficient Patient Access processes and regulatory compliance.
