Westchester Medical Center is seeking an Access Center Ambassador to be the frontline contact for patients, answering high volumes of calls to schedule and coordinate appointments, answer questions, and route inquiries within our physician enterprise. You will support first call resolution and uphold our CARE values while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include verifying demographics, updating records, and using Cerner and other platforms to manage scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum one year of call center or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication, empathy, and active listening.

Aufgaben

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients and others to schedule appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographics and portal access as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using the EHR system.
• Direct calls to appropriate departments and take accurate messages.
• Maintain records with accurate patient information and provide excellent service.
