Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Louisiana is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to act as the Patient Access Coordinator, onsite, ensuring a safe, accurate patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout and upholding data quality and revenue integrity.

You will manage pre-visit prep, digital intake, queue management, POS collections, and checkout follow-ups with empathy, accuracy, and strong teamwork across clinic staff.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and familiarity with patient eligibility/software systems.
• Knowledge of patient eligibility and benefits.
• Ability to use scheduling systems to optimize staffing levels.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit preparation: review schedules 24–48 hours ahead to identify missing docs or gaps.
• Digital-first intake: facilitate patient check-in and ensure demographics and consents are complete.
• Queue and wait-time management: monitor waiting areas and EMR queues, communicating delays clearly.
• Point-of-service collections: discuss financial responsibility and process payments with accuracy and daily drawer reconciliation.
• Exit and outreach: conduct checkout, schedule follow-ups, and manage outreach for no-shows.
