Job summary

HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. "The Heart of Our Community" in Fall River, MA, is seeking a full-time Medical Patient Service Rep to join a fast-paced medical team at a federally qualified community health center.

You will support patients with front-desk tasks and information on services. The role involves answering calls, verifying demographics, and scheduling or rescheduling appointments, with bilingual English/Spanish/Portuguese skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Health Information, Medical Office or Medical Secretary certificate preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and resolve patient issues per Health Center policies.
• Verify patient demographics and schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments.
• Provide general information about HealthFirst and services over the phone.
