Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, high school diploma required.
• 1+ year in a customer service or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance benefits and billing processes.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues ABNs as needed.
• Creates accurate patient financial responsibility estimates and collects payments.
• Coordinates with utilization management for pre-authorization issues.
• Registers patients for services with accuracy and minimal record duplication.
• Provides coverage for PBX and cashiering duties as needed.
