• Scan insurance cards and ensure data accuracy for billing.
• Verify insurance eligibility online or by contacting insurers for upcoming appointments.
• Schedule appointments across multiple schedules and call patients for reminders.
• Prepare medical record charts and collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at check-in.
• Balance cash box, daily closing report, and end-of-day deposit.
• Enter referrals and authorizations into the practice management system.
