This position emphasizes compassionate service, accurate data handling, and teamwork across clinical and operational staff. The PSR will assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling while maintaining CHOP’s iCARE values

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, prompt, and respectful customer service, including scheduling and registering appointments.
• Perform PARC EPIC functions and daily eligibility verifications following access standards.
• Reconcile daily services, process payments, and communicate financial responsibility to patients and families.
• Answer phones, verify and document contact information, and route calls and messages appropriately.
• Support families with MyCHOP activation and portal enrollment; assist with pre-check for efficient check-in.
• Maintain patient records, schedules, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
