You will work with a professional team, handle pre-certifications, collect copayments, and ensure compliance with policies. Strong communication and computer skills are essential; HS diploma and customer service experience required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 Year Customer Service Experience required.
• Good written, oral, and telephone communication skills.
• Knowledge of general office equipment, PCs and software.
• Typing 35 WPM corrected for errors preferred.
• General knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately gather complete financial and demographic information.
• Obtain/update verification of benefits and pre-certification as needed.
• Explain applicable legal, ethical, and compliance documents clearly.
• Explain and secure signed consents; maintain documentation.
• Maximize reimbursement and notify insurer to prevent denials.
• Assist patients with understanding financial obligations and collect payments.
• Stay compliant with regulations and follow leadership productivity guidelines.
