Qualifications

• Ability to type ~35 WPM with accuracy.
• General knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Gather financial and demographic information for records processing.
• Verify benefits and obtain pre-certifications when needed.
• Explain consent and compliance documents; maintain proper records.
• Identify insurance details to maximize reimbursement and reduce denials.
• Explain financial obligations and collect co-pays and balances.
• Adhere to policies, regulations, and productivity guidelines.
