Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two years of office admin/clerical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or willingness to complete a course within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance and determine ability to pay.
• Pre-authorize procedures and surgeries.
• Update patient registration and complete/update forms.
• Coordinate scheduling across departments and locations.
• Explain cost estimates and insurance benefits to patients.
• Maintain accurate records and document interactions in system.
