The position requires 5–7 years in patient registration or access, with a strong grasp of medical terminology, insurance policies, and HIPAA. You will support the revenue cycle and promote excellent patient service.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Audit daily patient registration activity for accuracy.
• Research and resolve incomplete or missing registration information.
• Contact patients and employers to obtain or verify data.
• Review insurance eligibility and coordinate benefits.
• Educate staff on insurance requirements and compliance.
• Train registrars on registration workflows and patient access procedures.
• Provide instruction on consent and HIPAA privacy.
