Job summary

The candidate will educate registrars on insurance requirements, regulatory compliance, and best practices, plus assist with downtime procedures and system troubleshooting. A strong customer service focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in patient registration or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily patient registration to ensure accurate demographics, guarantor, and insurance data.
• Research and resolve incomplete or missing registration information.
• Contact patients, employers, and other parties to verify information.
• Review insurance eligibility and coordinate benefits using online resources.
• Educate and train staff on insurance requirements, compliance, and workflows.
• Cross-train staff and provide coverage for registration functions as needed.
